Marco is hired to assess the damage to the tiny Sea Stead community of St. Marge Island after a storm. He meets the locals and soon becomes entangled in murders, mermaids, environmental espionage and alien spacecraft in this crazy action romp.

My first attempt at story telling was way too ambitious. It was a space saga that told the story of the drama, politics, religion and corruption of establishing a ‘Space Highway’ linking the earth to the asteroid belt. Several screenplays were written that followed a series of families and groups over several years as they built competitive ‘Highways’, space stations and the necessary support structure for each path. I had written and developed the story lines for several years, before I was just overwhelmed by the project. I wasn’t enjoying it. So I shelved that project.

However, I did fall in love with many of the characters and storylines from the epic and could see the potential of using them in other projects. The original space drama’s working title was the Killigrew Trader. So St. Marge became the tale of a small island sea stead, (Based on my love for the Caribbean.), instead of a grandiose space drama, with Lizzie Killigrew as one of the featured cast of characters.
